Siding & Gutters

Siding and gutters, composed.

Siding, trim, and seamless gutters for Chesapeake and Hampton Roads. One palette, one team, and water managed the way it should be.

How we approach it

The wall and its water

Siding keeps weather off the wall and gutters take it away from the foundation. They fail together, which is why they are worth looking at together.

What the old wall shows

Chalky surface, open joints, gaps at the trim. These tell you whether the problem is cosmetic or whether water has been getting behind the cladding.

02

Fiber cement or vinyl

Fiber cement is heavier, holds paint longer and costs more. Vinyl is lighter, faster and friendlier to a budget. Both are honest answers depending on the house.

The layer underneath

House wrap taped at every seam and pans flashed under every window. This is the part that actually keeps the wall dry, and it disappears the moment siding goes on.

Aligned, and draining

Courses level across the whole elevation, trim tight, and a seamless gutter above carrying water away from the foundation.

What we install

Cladding chosen to the architecture

Color, profile, and material are decided against the roof, the windows, and the neighborhood, then installed over the weather details that quietly decide how a house ages.

Fiber-cement

Crisp, durable, and paint-holding. A premium cladding that keeps its lines through coastal humidity and sun.

Insulated vinyl & wood

From low-maintenance insulated vinyl to natural wood where the architecture calls for it. Chosen for the house, not the catalog.

Trim, soffit & fascia

The quiet third of the composition. Profiles and reveals are drawn with the siding and roof so the whole elevation agrees with itself.

Seamless gutters

Sized, pitched, and placed as part of the design, with guards worth considering under Hampton Roads trees. Water management is what siding is actually for.

Good to know

Siding & gutters, answered

What siding do you work with?
Fiber-cement, insulated vinyl, and natural wood, alongside the trim, soffit, and fascia that finish the composition. Color and profile are chosen against the roof, windows, and architecture. The exterior is designed as one palette.
Do you replace gutters with siding?
Usually, and ideally: fascia, soffit, and guttering all meet where the wall reaches the roof, so doing them together is how those details end up watertight. See gutters, and gutter guards if your roof sits under trees.
Is new siding worth it beyond looks?
Yes. Modern siding assemblies improve weather protection and, with insulated options, energy performance. It is also the moment to correct water-management details that quietly age a house.
