Bathroom Vanities

Bathroom vanities, built to the room.

Custom vanities for Chesapeake and Hampton Roads bathrooms. Drawn to the wall you have, at a height that suits you, and finished in surfaces chosen for daily use.

How we build

The piece you stand at every morning

A vanity is the one thing in a bathroom you touch every day, and the one most often bought to a size that nearly fits.

Built to the wall you have

Stock vanities come in fixed widths and the room is adjusted to suit. In a bathroom, where every inch is visible and nothing is far away, that compromise shows more than it does in a kitchen.

Built to your height

Standard vanity height was set when people were shorter. A vanity that is made rather than bought can simply be built to suit the people who use it every morning.

One generous sink, or two

Two basins need real width before they stop feeling cramped. Often a single wide sink with usable counter on both sides serves a couple better, and we will show you both at your actual dimensions.

Surfaces chosen for a bathroom

Quartz is unbothered by toothpaste, cosmetics, and daily water, and it never needs sealing. Natural stone is beautiful and asks for more care. Both are honest choices made knowingly.

Wall-hung or floor-standing

A small room reads larger with the floor running under it

Wall-hung makes a compact bathroom feel bigger and is easier to clean beneath. Floor-standing gives more storage and a more traditional look. The plumbing has to suit either, which is why it is decided early rather than late.

Part of a room, not a purchase

A vanity is drawn alongside the shower, the lighting, and the layout. See the whole bathroom remodeling process, or what a bathroom remodel costs.

The lookbook

Vanities, in context.

Height, depth, storage, and the metal on the drawer front. A vanity is furniture that lives in a wet room, so it is worth seeing whole rooms rather than cabinet fronts.

Good to know

Vanities, answered

Custom vanity or a stock unit?
A stock vanity comes in fixed widths and the room is adjusted around it. A custom vanity is drawn to the wall you actually have, which matters more in a bathroom than a kitchen because bathrooms are small and every inch is visible.
One sink or two?
Two sinks need real width to avoid feeling cramped, and the honest answer is often that one generous sink with more usable counter serves a couple better than two crowded ones. We will show you both at your actual dimensions before you decide.
What countertop works in a bathroom?
Quartz is the practical choice: non-porous, unbothered by toothpaste and cosmetics, and it never needs sealing. Natural stone is beautiful and wants more care. Marble in a family bathroom is a decision to make knowingly.
How high should a vanity be?
Standard height was set when people were shorter. Most adults are more comfortable with a taller counter, and since a custom vanity is built rather than bought, it can simply be built to suit the people using it.
Wall-hung or floor-standing?
Wall-hung makes a small bathroom read larger because the floor runs underneath it, and it makes cleaning easier. Floor-standing gives more storage and a more traditional look. The plumbing has to suit either choice, which is decided early.
