Calm baths. Enduring materials.
Custom baths for Chesapeake and Hampton Roads. Composed from stone, wood, and considered metals, with the quiet detailing that makes a room age well.
From reconfiguration to the final fixture.
The real improvement usually lives in the layout, not the finishes, so we handle the structural, plumbing, and electrical work a true reconfiguration requires, designed and built by the same team. Then the materials do the talking, quietly.
Layout and structure
Moving a wall, stealing a closet, or turning a tub alcove into a walk-in shower. The real gain is almost always in the plan rather than the finishes.
Plumbing and waterproofing
Rough-in, drainage falls, and a properly built wet area. The waterproofing is the part you never see and the only part that cannot be corrected later.
Vanities and storage
Furniture-grade cabinetry sized to the room, with the drawer that actually fits a hairdryer rather than the one that fit the catalog.
Stone and tile
Slab, mosaic, and large-format porcelain, set out so the pattern lands correctly at every edge and nobody meets a sliver cut in a corner.
Lighting
Layered: task light at the mirror that does not throw shadows on a face, plus ambient and accent light for the hours when nobody wants brightness.
Fixtures and hardware
Valves, showerheads, and metals chosen for how they wear over a decade rather than how they photograph on the day of install.
Bathroom projects in Hampton Roads
Design directions for your bath.
Palettes, vanity profiles, stone, and metals, shown as whole rooms rather than swatches. A place to point at what you like before anything is drawn.
The Classical Bath
Classical architecture distilled into a bath: a bureau-style vanity with silvered wood grain, louvered accents, and plank-tile walls for a glamorous, old-world air.
The European Spa
Floating vanities, clean lines, and contemporary finishes bring the calm of a premier European spa home: urban, pampered, and unmistakably modern.
Refined Rituals
Spa-inspired indulgence rooted in deliberate design: a warm macchiato-brown raised-panel vanity, marble backsplash, svelte lighting, and a soaking tub that makes relaxation the point.
Serene Sanctuary
Calm and beautifully composed. A soft off-white door, gentle vertical tile, twin oval mirrors, a brass-accented double vanity, and a freestanding tub.
Sheer Serenity
A serene bath of paired vanities and a get-ready station, with a glass-front linen cabinet. A soft two-tone of light oak and warm neutral.
Luxe Lines
Texture meets sophistication. A warm brown-sugar stain deepening reeded vanity doors, warm metal hardware, marble counters, and open shelving.
Sharp & Chic
Sleek and contemporary. Minimalist slab cabinetry, waterfall-edge counters, light wood tones, bold black hardware, and dramatic black accent walls.
Dark & Dashing Bath
Bold black-and-white contrast meets natural calm. A floating vanity in a natural finish softening the high-contrast palette with clean, flat-panel lines.
Minimalist Sanctuary
From airy matte white to grounding charcoal. Sleek frameless construction and organic texture for a bath that's both cutting-edge and timeless.
Spellbinding Spa
Depth, texture, and tranquility. A saturated green vanity with a slender shaker profile, gold accents, and woven baskets across dual vanities.
Violet Hour
Rich color and layered texture. A timeless raised-panel vanity in a dusky violet that shifts beautifully through the day.
Botanical Getaway
Traditional elegance with cheerful flair. Bold coastal-blue cabinetry, a built-in linen tower, a double-sink vanity, and gold fixtures against pale blush walls.
Inspiration, not completed projects. These rooms show the direction and the level of detail we design to.
The same bath, reconsidered
Drag the divider. The plumbing stayed where it was. Everything that decides how the room feels, the tub, the shower enclosure, the vanity, the tile and the light, did not.

An illustration of the kind of change a renovation makes, not a Cavalier project. Our own project photography will replace it once the first homes are finished.
Four phases. One team.
Design and construction under one roof, so what is drawn is what is priced, and what is priced is what is built.
Custom baths, answered
What makes a Cavalier bath different?
Do you take on primary-suite renovations?
Can you reconfigure the layout, not just the finishes?
How do you keep a renovation livable while work is underway?
Where do you work?
One team for the rooms either side of it.
A bath is rarely the only room that needs attention. The same team designs and builds the rest of the house, from the same palette.
